there are 10 500+ streeter VG's in the US alone, 1000hp is old news with top end mods for the VG, and that was before 2.5" intake piping Inline motors are inherently laggier than V-motors, which are inherently laggier than "flat" motors, the RB is fine if drag racing, trips to bonneville, or doing youtube videos of racing from a roll at 60mph on the highway is all you plan on doing. But if a good balance of low-end torque and top end power is what you want, then V motors are the best starting point. This is why nearly all 6 cyl, and every last 8 cyl motor is not an inline motor, amongst other reasons.
